Artist Statement
My work deals with the human form and organic materials as well as man-made objects. I paint subjects I find in the natural world that are intriguing to me, exaggerating certain elements to create dreamlike scenes. I study form and color to create visually captivating compositions. The heightened realism in certain areas work in unison to signify areas of importance or priority within the image. Insert part where I tell the reason that I paint?.
