Artist Statement
Timothy R. Butcher’s multimedia art series entitled I Could Work All Day details a search for identity and crafts a story out of his past. These pieces use the English language in a chaotic, automatic way that works as a mechanism of the drawings. Bridging the gap between several disciplines, Timothy aims to bring process into the artwork by allowing the tools to function as art objects.
